Last month SIN Cru’s AD was invited to a secret celebratory meal by loooong time friend and collaborator, Hakeem Onibudo.  Taking up the whole back corner of a vibrant Turkish restaurant in west London, was an incredible collection of beautiful, positive people brought together by Hakeem in acknowledgement of the paths they have walked with him through his ever-unfolding journey.  Hakeem had some very special news which he wanted to share on the dl before it was made public.  Through the Arts Council England Change Makers initiative, Hak has been awarded a bursary to spend the next 18months fully immersed in The Place with the remit of increasing the number of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people who engage with the organisation.  This is immense.  We are all extremely proud of Hakeem, honoured that he is part of the SIN Cru family, and wish him all the best.
